A student who withdraws
during the first two weeks of a module in the program
will receive a grade of “W” which will not be calculated
in the cumulative grade point average (GPA). Any student
who withdraws during the third week of a module in the
program will receive an “X” which will be calculated
into the student’s GPA. After the third week, the
student’s scores will be averaged to determine the grade
for the program.
Definition of Grades:
-
An “F” means the
student has not satisfactorily met course
requirements and must repeat the course.
-
An “I” is assigned only
when a small amount of work is not completed due to
illness or other reasons satisfactory to the
instructor under the authorization of the Institute
Administrator. The student must complete all work
within 30 days following the last class date. For
purposes of grade point and satisfactory progress,
the “I” grade will not be computed. When all
requirements are met, the “I” will be converted to a
final grade and the GPA recalculated.
-
An “L” is assigned when
a student has been granted a Leave of Absence.
-
A “W” is assigned for
withdrawals that occur during the first two weeks of
a module in the program. A grade of “W” will not be
calculated in the cumulative grade point average
(GPA).
-
An “X” is assigned for
withdraws that occur during the 3rd and 4th weeks of
a module in the program (will be calculated as a
Zero in the GPA)
